After scaling your replica, you may notice that there’s no error but the replica just doesn’t scale. One thing to check for is the kube-system pod kube-controller-manager-controlplane. If you notice that its pod crashed, look for any errors and fix any issues in its manifest file in /etc/kubernetes/manifests/.
