Deleting an aks cluster

To delete an aks cluster, you just need to use its name and resource group in the command below.

az aks delete --name aks-demo-cluster --resource-group rg-aks-demo

Are you sure you want to perform this operation? (y/n): y

The command below verifies that the resource does not exist anymore.

az aks show \
  --resource-group rg-aks-demo \
  --name aks-demo-cluster \
  --query provisioningState \
  --output tsv
